The emphasis of ‘List’ shifts between objective and active registers. The active phase is based on attempts to interact positively with each person listed and to form the project from the material of these exchanges.

Discrete actions come about through suggestion and negotiation and are open to a wide range of possibility. At first I will initiate these exchanges, in the future I hope to respond to suggestions and initiatives that come from the listed themselves.Each action is specific to a person on the list. Actions are given a reference based on the co-ordinates of the person’s name on the artwork (the objective matrix), shown originally at the RHA. The artwork will not reappear, though the list itself may be shown in other forms and contexts.
